About Me

I am an interdisciplinary artist and MFA candidate working at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in affiliation with Tufts University.

School-related work has taken over a large part of my life. For Performance Open Studio I am rewriting my artist statement which I'll post here shortly. I am incorporating objects into my performance work to explore memory through the transformation of my body, continuing to explore the animal/human hybrid imagery that I had been working with in drawings prior to beginning the MFA. I am also working on two other projects which have been informed by readings and discussions in and around the graduate Contemporary Art Practice seminar.

I applied for and just received a Graduate Travel Fund grant to attend Winter School at New Territories Festival in Glasgow, Scotland in February 2011. Winter School performance workshops will be lead by Black Market International artists. I will also be attending the week-long international performance art festival that will happen while I'm there.

On November 19, I will be performing new work in Brooklyn at Grace Space.
